The Drew Israelsen Family

The boys had another successful trip of fishing. Drew snagged himself a nice bass and Rob was so proud to get his picture taken with it!(it looks alot bigger with Rob holding it than with Drew.) Hara and Rob were exhausted from waking up at the crack of dawn so they caught some z's on the way home!

I snapped these of my two favorite guys before one of there most recent fishing journeys! I am so thankful for Drew and that he takes the time to really build a relationship with his son!

Happy third birthday Lena!!! I love this girl so much. When Lena was two weeks old she gave us quit a scare and stopped breathing on us. Luckily I had a great neighbor and first responders that were awesome. I can honestly say I have NEVER been so scared in my life. The thought of losing a child is aweful so my heart goes out to any one and everyone who has ever had to experience it. That day when we took her into her the nurse looked at her and looked at us and said well she is SMALL BUT MIGHTY!!! I have never heard something that describes Lena better than that. She brings so much joy to our house and has really begun to get a funny sense of humor. She loves putting on a show for her dad and I and really loves it when Rob thinks it is funny as well. Her latest and greatest is her butt dance and if you can really get her to do it she puts in her dad's neck dance and tongue with it....it is a riot! The trick is trying to get her to do it on command...doesn't happen very often.

Lena got a new dress for her birthday today from Grandma Taylor so I decided to dress the kids up and snap a few shots of them....These were actually my favorites and they are priceless. And of course every good photo session has to end with the smart face pose right?!

Robert is HOOKED. Drew has been taking Robert ice fishing and he loves it. The first trip Robert came back in wet from knees to toes. I asked him what happened and he said dad and uncle Chad pushed him in the hole when he was trying to fish. I asked the big boys about this and they laughed...I guess what REALLY happened was Robert thought he could put his ice chips back on top of his hole and stand on it and from his wet pants I guess he figured out that didn't work. The second trip was more successful they even caught fish this time (that is how Robert describes it). It is his new favorite and Robert can't wait until their next adventure.

Lena has recently been doing all sorts of faces. She loves doing them but they have to be done in order or she won't do it. She is a little OCD that way! These were the best shots I could get considering I had to chase her wiggling head around with the camera!

The other day we got a bag of hand me downs from Stacey and inside were a pair of fuzzy pink slippers. Robert loves them. He found them in Lena's closet and will walk around with them on his feet. He looks so funny wearing his Christmas PJ's and fuzzy pink slippers. He was more than happy to pose for the pictures. So thanks Aunt stacey for Robert's Fuzzy Pink Slippers, as long as dad doesn't see him wearing them he should be fine.

This was one of my favorite toys to play with when I was little and this is my actual one that I played with. I have hauled it around with me for a lot of years so when I see the kids playing with it I am flooded with memories! I used to love to play nurse. Lena had me all hooked up the other night, taking my blood pressure and giving me shots cause I was sick.

As you can see Drew has his ROCKER face on while playing Rock Band 2. He sold Rock band and upgraded to Rock band 2. The kids love it. When all of us are playing Lena says she will be the dancer for the group. She is such a girl, but she does her fair share of rocking out on the drums!



We also got Robert Light Sabers for his Star wars clone wars game. The kids are having a great time with those as well. (as long as I can keep them from hitting each other with them!) You can see Rob as inherited his dad's game face!

The kids love it when I take pictures of them especially if they can pull faces! These are some of my favorites that we have got of their silly faces lately. I love these two more than I can put into words!!!
