The Drew Israelsen Family

We are so proud of Robert for everything he has learned this year in school.  He had a big ceremony last night and did such a great job with his speaking part and all the songs he learned to sign.  What fun this was and what some awesome kindergarten teachers they have to put this all together!!

I am so blessed to be able to hear someone call me MOMMY!  I love my kids so much and understand now what my parents went through.  I am so blessed to have these two angels live with me!  Thanks guys for making me a mom so I could celebrate a great mother's day with you!

Robert asked Santa for a BB gun for Christmas and sure enough Christmas morning Santa delivered.  Brady was great with him and helped him make a target and took him out back on Christmas day and helped him figure out how to use it.  He loves it.  He is definitely all boy!

Every year for the past 7 years I have given Drew a present from his Dad for Christmas. This was this years project. It is a blanket I made out of a pair of Pa's old camo pants and a pair of Mine, Robert's and Lena's pants. It took alot of time but Drew absolutely loves it. It made me feel like all the time put into it was worth it when he was snuggled up in it the other night and said "I don't know what I did before I had this blanket."

This past November Drew and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. Since I have been a huge slacker with blogging lately I am barely posting this. We spent the evening together and my mom took the kids for the night. (this is our anniversary present from her every year). I have loved every minute that I have been married to Drew and look so forward to the next 50! Love you babe!

So lately in my spare time I have picked up a new hobby...well actually an old hobby I just discovered again.  I have made a stack of hot pads in many colors a baby blanket and my newest is the cute headband.  I figure this is more productive then setting on facebook playing poker...although I am very good at poker to bad the money isn't real, of course Drew loses as much as I win so in the end we would still break even!

Drew wanted a puppy for Christmas so we got our dog Juno from my brother Mike. This is what she looked like a week after we brought her home.

She is four months old now and this is what she looks like now. She thinks she is a lap dog and loves to lay on you and sleep.

She is a good dog and has quickly become a part of the family.

My little baby Lena is turning 4 today. It is crazy how time flies! She adds so much to our family and love to have her around. She keeps me on my toes. She loves all types of music and dancing and LOVES playing barbies and babies. I love you Lena...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
